Depart from Gangtok early in the morning and start your journey towards the Silk Route.
On the way, visit the famous Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, two popular tourist spots near Gangtok.
Continue your drive through the scenic terrain, and as you ascend, you will notice a change in the landscape from lush greenery to rocky terrain.
